The death occurred at Hill Ash House Care Centre on 21st January 2018 of Mrs Evelyn Alice Madden, aged 95 years.
The funeral service took place at St Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Coleford on Wednesday 7th February 2018 with Father Barnabas Page officiating. The preceding music was Somewhere over the rainbow performed by Judy Garland. The hymns Morning has broken and How great Thou art were sung by the congregation. The poem Miss me but let me go was read by Evelyn’s granddaughters and Evelyn’s daughter Mary, gave the tribute. The succeeding music was I believe in angels by Abba.
